What is normal?
Who should decide?
Is there a standard definition or is it subject to change by the individuals involved?
Is normal a feeling or an appearance which we feel we must keep up?
Why do we all strive to be “normal?”
Why can’t we just be who we are and not give a **** what other people think?
Why do we care if others think we are “normal?”

IMO, "normal" is fairly subjective and relies greatly on the individuals/groups involved.
However, I disagree with the idea that everyone "strives to be normal". Clearly they do not, although I suppose that that depends, again, on how normal is defined.
And I think we care because, in general, we are social creatures that (to varying degrees) look for group acceptance for comfort and protection.
Why can’t we just be who we are and not give a **** what other people think?
I don't give a **** that I'm normal. How's that? Seems like you care too much about not being normal. Preoccupation with rebellion is just the same as preoccupation with conformity.
What is "normal" in my opinion is acceptance. Accept who you are. Accept others as who they are. Accept the present moment and circumstances. Live in the present. Be "normal". Think of yourself as "normal" because we are all human beings at the end of the day. Here for the moment and all stated to die... eventually.
Sometimes it is interesting which conversations stay with you...
In 10th grade I said something using the word "normal". I think I said to a friend "you're not normal" (jokingly). Is reply was "there is no such thing as normal, if you think about it" then he proceeded to elaborate. That conversation has always stayed with me, and I agee with him.
