Did the antidepressants make you feel more energized?
Viibryd...I don't know if energeticness is a side effect...again, I ditched it after a week. I was already energetic, an extreme fitness enthusiast at the time.
Wellbutrin is supposedly a bit energizing, although when I took it, that side effect only happened the first day. Wasn't energizing past day 1.
People who suffer depression have already lost the desire along with many other things in their lives. Clear up the depression sexual appetite should return. If not then maybe other problems involved and meds wont fix it.

That's not quite correct. It can be true though but I suppose that would depend on the type of depression one has. Depression can also be associated with a heightened sexual desire. It all depends.
Marijuana is a natural anti-depressant. It is also good for digestion and in my opinion increases sexual desire. It lasts 2-3 hours and has few side effects, other than wanting to eat. Research it.

I personally wouldn't believe anything the drug companies said in their rigged studies. Their main goal is to make more money and a drug they slightly tweak goes for a high price. They don't like it when their drugs fall into the generic category, that equals less revenue. With any of these drugs your mileage may vary, what works on one won't be the same for another person. That's the frustrating part of it all. The only one that I've heard makes people have more energy is Wellbutrin, well some people anyway. It's often added as a second AD to counteract the sleepy/tired effects of the first med. But it put me to sleep like a sleeping pill. lol
Have you looked into the herb Turmeric? I know one person that has has success with Turmeric when some other antidepressants didn't work. It might be worth a try. Move Over Prozac | Blog | Kelly Brogan MD
