I'm soooo glad I'm not the only person with this problem!! But get this...I TOO AM ANEMIC!!! That is soooo weird??? I eat about 1-2 cans per day... and that's limiting myself. For me, I put about 4-5 Altiods in my mouth, crunch them up into small peices, swirl those peices around in my mouth, and then swallow. Mmmmmm...... I'm going to my doctor next week, and I'm going to ask her wth is this addiction all about?!?!

I also have an addiction to both gum and mints. With the Altoids, I eat them non-stop, putting (like what JanieTheresa said) 4-5 of them in my mouth at once or chewing 2-3 pieces of gum at the same time. This has been going on for many years now off and on. I had blood work done last year at my college and they did say anything about me being anemic or having an iron deficiency. Next time I go the doctor, I will also ask about this obsessed craving for mints and gum I regularly have!!!

p.s. To the poster who suggested baby carrots: they are indeed yummy and I ate those baby carrots by the (small) bag loads during the summer after 3rd grade that I needed to get glasses by the beginning of 4h grade, lol! Then again, my parents both have bad eyesight, so getting glasses was probably inevitable for me anyway.

I am sooo glad I'm not the only person in the world with this addiction!!! I really cannot believe I found someone who's on em as bad as I am!! What a relief, I'm not crazy! Or we both are, whichever, either way I'm fine just knowing I'm not alone!

Red face I think I have a problem

Ok, so I like mints a lot, and couch drops (especially the blue halls ones) and I thought I was addicted to cough drops, until last night I bought a tin of wintergreen altoids and at 67 of them within an hour of buying them. I'm afraid that if and when I poop that it will burn. Will it? I guess I'll have to find out. I'm deffinately addicted

Interesting! Maybe they do have some sort of addictive quality as my husband has been eating a can of Altoids every few days..for over 10 years now.. They are the ONLY mint that he eats. He eats the red can (peppermint). I don't even like Altoids!
