I believe 2018 MB GLC is coming with 4yr/50K miles free warranty

I am thinking of buying extended warranty, if I purchase 2018 MB GLC.

Dealer is quoting $3500 for (7 years/100K mile) ie., 3 years extended warranty after 4 years and $1645 for 4 year maintenance plan?

Is it worth it to get the extended warranty and maintenance plan on the brand new 2018 GLC?

Also what is the deal you got on the extended warranty and maintenance plan for your MB or GLC?

I just bought the GLC as well and will get the extended warranty and the prepaid maintenance. Also is yours partially driverless?

Head on over to one of the MB forums, such as MBworld. There are a couple of dealers who will sell the extended warranty and maintenance plans at a good discount and you can find their info over there. There isn't much off you can get on the maintenance plan (but there is some), but the warranties do have margin and room in there for discounts.

The prepaid maintenance is a good deal if you plan to do service at the dealer. If you have a local non-dealer shop or DIY, you can go cheaper.

Considering the transmission in that junker, you better have the extended warranty or sell it when the warranty runs out. It's a semi-manual POS that is a known problem child. Best of luck with it.

My last ML 500 got over 200,000 miles with no issues there.
