The JaltembaJalapeno.com suggests that the tourism recovery in Mexico looks more promising when compared to other countries.

Despite bad press from drug related violence Mexico is recovering better than most major tourist destinations. In this report we look at tourist revenues and visitors to give an international perspective to the Mexican recovery.


On May 30th we looked at the Mexican government statistics for international arrivals. We drew the rather gloomy conclusion that there was still a long way to go. We also suggested that the statistics may be more encouraging if compared to the international tourist climate for the same period. This is in fact the case. Mexico has fared better than most countries.
