I am doing a project about Mexican burial and grieving processes, as well as the day of the dead.

Can anyone give me information about the types of music played at funerals, funeral processions, and on the day of the dead week? Are there traditional songs? Do they have specific meanings?

Really depends what part Mexico you are talking about. Banda, tamborazo or norteno is what my family would do.
