Are they? Or is it just in the US where latinos look down upon them? Having lived in Cuba, half the Cubans wouldn't even know where El Salvador was..or care

Isn't it more a gang thing in the US?

I guess is a USA thing.

In Mexico, people do not have a negative or positive opinion about El Salvador, many people do not even know where it is.

Where do you get this sterotype from??? No. I've never heard of this. I've known Mexican-Americans in Texas, Cali and Mexicans from all over the country and no, this has never been brought to my attention.

Most central americans are treated like crap over in mexico. A common derogatory slur is used upon them "zerrote".

That is false. Most are supported by mexicans to reach their destination.
