There are growing problems with Mexico........they blame it on the drug cartels.

Drug money is an undercurrent to Freedom...the Mexican people and the USA people are at risk.

Drug money is controlling votes and representatives.

Lawmakers are doing a great job of making laws. There are more every day.

In my small town... the police were just busted by the FED for reselling stolen drugs... Why the Fed...?. Was it because the Police were interfering with the CARTEL'S BUSINESS--- that underground, illegal nontaxable business?

We don't know--- I like to think it was a righteous bust.

But any child can find dope for sale. Until that changes I will not be a Happy Camper. Will you?

"Will Mexico become a U.S. Territory?" The answer is no. They're too big and have too many problems for the US, who has its own problems, to take on a territory of 112 million people. The US hasn't gained any new territories for years, even when we were at our strongest.

This also has nothing to do with Chicago, so I'm not sure why it's even in this forum.

You're lucky he even gave that much of an answer to a dumb question in the wrong forum. His answer is correct, but you probably knew that.

Look at how long it's taken for Puerto Rico to consider becoming a state. And it was already a US territory, so statehood is almost a formality. Mexico is an independent country with its own culture, language, and institutions, all of which have often acted in direct opposition to the US.

There are many ways to make a dent in the drug problem, but annexing Mexico isn't one of them.

So no.

Okay, let's call it "a question with an obvious answer" rather than "a dumb question" if that makes you feel better. Either way, it has nothing to do with Chicago.

According to your profile, your most-posted-in forum is Politics and Other Controversies. Wouldn't this have made a wee bit more sense there than on the Chicago forum?
