I like all your Pics. I did climb one of the old Aztec reminders above Mexico City years ago; saw the May Day parade in Mexico city once too. I drove all the way down from and returned to Wichita, Ks. It was quite a drive and I did enjoy all the small towns. I drove only in the day and I had people with me who were fluent in Spanish. A imigrant from the Mexico tells me there once were a lot more trees in central Mexico.
I've looked thru most of the pic's in this thread and I must say, Mexico is certainly a beautiful country. I love the vastness of color. The archecture is gorgeous in both large and small towns. The water is a rich green/blue color. The countryside is just fabulous looking. And the people look happy.
What I don't understand is.........it looks as tho' the cities are thriving and there's plenty of work, so why are people fleeing to the US for jobs? If I lived there I don't know that I could ever leave to live elsewhere.
Someday, maybe I'll be able to take a trip to Mexico and see it first hand....
