Ok, I have to admit it, I could't resist the temptation to upload more pics
These are from Monterrey, one of Mexico most modern cities and the third biggest, the strongest transnational firms of Mexico began here, like Cemex (cement) Vitro (glass) Ahimsa (Steel) Grupo alfa (steel, paper, consumer goods, and food) Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc (Brewery) among others, this city and Nuevo Leon it's state, the state of Mexico (the state surrounding Mexico city, where valle de bravo is located) and the Federal District (The capital territory where Mexico city is) are the pillars of Mexico's GDP, Monterrey is known also for paying the highest wages in the country and having a skilled worforce laboring in hightech industries, Monterrey is about a 3 hours drive from Laredo Tx or Mc Allen Tx and about a 4 hour drive from Brownsville Tx.
Enjoy!

<--- The barrio antiguo (old district) one of the few places in Monterrey that still has a classic architechture
<--- A view of the Macroplaza (Main square)
<---- Fuente de la vida (fountain of life)
<----- Museo de la historia Mexicana (Mexican history museum) a must see if you go to Monterrey, this museum is one of the reasons I feel blessed to be born in this beautiful country, this happened after visiting it
<--- That building is the university hospital
 <----- Monterrey government palace
<---- This is a shot of the downtown
<---- Cola de caballo (Horse tail) waterfalls
<---- That's the planetarium a beautiful place to learn more about space and science in general built and sponsored by Grupo Alfa
<---- Another shot of this magnificent city

 <---- another panoramic shot
<---- Some appartments in avenida Constitucion (Mty's main avenue)

Great pics Jessaka and Treveling fella.
Jessaka those pictures you posted reminds me of Italy when i was in Europe. Very old world European.
Traveling fella the pictures you posted shows how modern Mexico has become.Showing those pictures that you posted of the modern looking glass Skyscapers makes me think of the booming asian cities that have emerged.
I read in a business magazine one time that someone said that Mexico is the next Ireland to emerge so lets hope so......

<---- They want to let you know that the North American Union could be a good idea
 <---- Cancun or Miami?

Mexico has way too many beautiful places, I try to go as often as I can (once or twice a year).
Guanajuato, Monterrey, the Yucatan Peninsula, the deserts and the mountains -- all very nice in their own way.
Thanks for the pictures y'all -- keep them coming
