Default Oaxaca, Mexico

This is my favorite photo. It is of a man giving someone a shoeshine in the early morning hours at the plaza.

Street scene. Indians in this area do not like their photo taken because they believe you are stealing their soul. So I had to sneak this one.

Two Indian women talking. The one saw me taking the photo but didn't mind.

Saturday Mercado

Saturday Mercado. sorry but some of my photos have faded and are better viewed smaller.

You are welcome my dear friend

We've pretty posted pictures about very interesting and exciting things about Mexico and mexican life, but we have forgotten to post an essential aspect of Mexico's modern life.

Parties!!! Ohhhh yeah baby, life without party is no life at all and Mexico's the party paradise.

Psychedelic parties in Mexico, in the forest, dessert, in the beach, everywhere

New age hippies?

Felt like partying now?

you can visit IsraTrance Forum - Mexico for info about the best parties

There are some very wonderful pictures here.. paints a different picture of Mexico that most border dwellers have of the country.

I have been deep into Mexico a couple of times, mostly to the coastal areas.. and I found it amazing when I was first there that most there speak great English.. Mexico does in fact have many beautiful regions... and some beautiful people. I love the pictures of the alleyways in Mexico.. reminded me of Europe.

Default More of Monterrey, Mexico

I am on vacation in Monterrey right now and took some pics...
enjoy

I apologize in advance for not being a professional photographer...

I have been in Monterrey for a few days on vacation and felt the need to post some of the pics I took...

Santiago, Mexico ... a typical small village south of Monterrey

Church in Santiago

Typical Monterrey Street

Huge Mexican Flag on top of a large hill in the center of Monterrey

Famous Cerro de la Silla .... Chair Mountain. This is the symbol of Monterrey (Monterrey in English means King of the Mountains)

Intense smog as a result of the wildfires

Large Wildfire on a Mountain on the other side of town ... I really got to play with the zoom feature with this one..

2501 Illegal Immigrants who died crossing the border. This commemoration is right along Monterrey's new Riverwalk

Large modern looking walkway

Joshua trees north of the city
