Default Buying public land in Mexico

Does anyone have a clue as to how to purchase public land in Mexico? I have found some beautiful property in the mountains and it is not inhabited by anyone. I need to know how to go about finding if it can be purchased thru the government.

All I can tell you is that you MUST hire a real estate attorney that knows Mexican land laws. You may want to hire one in Mexico and another one here, as well. Buying land in Mexico is very possible, but you have to have trustworthy professionals representing you.

Default be very careful

you must be very careful when you buy land in mexico. if your not a mexican citizen you cannot own land. Your going to need a bank trust also. one more thing about mexico and property, the title system is very poor. some lots may have up to five owner or five so called owner. coruption is very wide spread when it come to land.
