about 20 years ago, i wandered about mexico city. i was impressed by a big mural that i saw in the entrance to a movie theater. it was Atlas, who was holding the World, but who had ALL of Latinoamerica in his extended palm from mexico all the way down to argentina. it was a beautiful mural. i'm surprised that someone has not reproduced it and sold it to the masses. can anybody give details of that mural?

Hmmmmm for the description it sounds like El teatro de los insurgentes, could it be this one? (this is the best pic I found and it only has one part of the mural)
it's a performance theather not a movie theather though, it's called el teatro de los insurgentes because it's on insurgentes avenue

thanks for your response, but i don't think that it's the one. it was Atlas in the sky holding latinoamerica in his palm as if he was presenting it to the universe, it was unforgettable.
My wife recollects the theater and the mural. She is trying to remember the name and area.
Were you there before or after the 1995 earthquake. She said a lot of buildings in the certro were totally destroyed.
