The Wikipedia says there are 5 public markets
  1. El Huizachito
  2. Mercado Rosa Torres,
  3. El Contadero, (the furthest west)
  4. Pueblo de San Pedro Cuajimalpa, (the oldest market)
  5. San Mateo Tlaltenango. (south of the autopista)

As near as I can tell, "El Huizachito" is the Superama, the mall next door where the Domino's pizza is located, and the shops crowded around the main street.

Mercado Rosa Torres is just before the Wal-Mart. The others are more of a walk, with San Pedro possibly the most interesting.

You haven't posted here in a while. Are you getting around the city OK? What buses do you take? Did you buy a motorcycle? Local hangouts for cheap food?

Sorry I've been a while replying...if you look at my new topic "Facing Unexpected Situation," you'll see what's been going on.
