Ah, so it was a snarky spelling comment. I wasn't sure what your purpose was.

There are many travel warnings, and frankly sometimes they are, but sometimes they aren't always accurate. From a comparative statistical standpoint there should be travel warnings to New Orleans, Chicago and many places in the States.

Snark is not thought.

Let's examine statistics quickly. In statistics everything is uncertain and the results are expressed in terms of probabilities. In that case I agree with you and would include Houston, San Antonio, and countless other cities in the USA.

In this case, having traveled and performed throughout Mexico, years ago, I was using common sense. Mexico at one time was beautiful and generally safe if a person was aware and used common sense. In Mexico D.F. I was assigned security, not that I wanted it. Yes, there are major problems on both sides:

When some random poster on the Internet says "Come on in, the water is fine" methinks, what are the probabilities of finding 15 tons of methamphetamine in Houston, San Antonio, or countless other cities in the USA?

I suggest that instead of asking random people in the internet, who may or may not live in Mexico, questions regarding moving here. Please take a look at this website; Home the American society of Guadalajara. Where real gringos, who really live here, and really know what and what no to do in Mexico, can give you real information and not just handpicked stories they watched on Fox News.

Saludos and best luck to you

Presidente Masaryk is very nice. Like the Rodeo Drive of Mexico City if one is into such things. Pretty sheltered though.

North of Presidente Masaryk has changed a lot recently with the Plaza Carso Complex and Antara Mall. I like it a lot.
