There is ALWAYS a profit motive. All socialism does is make the vast majority of people equally poor. But there's always a small elite on top. Always. If you don't know this, you don't know history.

Some people will always be smarter, more hard working, or more motivated than others to get material goodies. Trying to outlaw that ultimately backfires horribly. Research the millions, perhaps hundreds of millions who died in the 20th century in the name of "equality".

Yeah, that's what they always say when socialism fails. "They didn't have REAL socialism". Just LOL.

Lol.

I'm not a Marxist and yet have already made a thread in response to this ridiculous video:

Why do Western intellectuals lie about Marxism so much?

Who said anything about cure equality. I did say equal political power to all, and cooperative working/pooling together resources is more sustainable.

What evil hierarchy has been set up in the best place of Mexico? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebel_...Municipalities

What is the real world?

Endless consumption?

You think that is freedom, but that’s because the powerful have convinced you so.

Do you even know why the articles of confederation where deemed unworthy?

Or do you just trust authority to tell you how to feel, how to think, how to eat, and how to dream?

Viva la Mexico!
I will say that many if not most Mexicans I know that have emigrated to the USA are very hard working. It's another side of the coin but doesn't change the fact that many are illegals here and in violation of our laws. I still prefer a wall or barrier and a system that allows us to pick who we allow to immigrate versus illegal immigration.

Mexico's problem is that they keep electing corrupt leaders and I fear they will do the same here like AOC.

Sweden is not even close to socialist. And have been reforming their social programs.

The workfare policies introduced include: somewhat less generous benefits, tax reductions aimed particularly at those with lower incomes, liberalizations of the temporary employment contracts and a gate-keeping mechanism for receiving sick and disability benefits.

Bolivia is the poorest country in South America.

Quote:
To suppress dissent, Morales cracked down on the press. As Freedom House notes, he has punished political opponents and corrupted the judiciary. According to Peñaranda, Bolivia has more political exiles than any South American country.

Ecuador is also a mess.

Quote:
One reason authorities may have been so willing to take a risk on the project is that they were receiving bribes. The anti-corruption official who was in charge of the project was caught on tape discussing the existence of bribes from China. Multiple officials involved are currently in prison for taking bribes from a rival engineering company.

A judge in Ecuador ruled Wednesday that the directors and former opinion editor of El Universo newspaper must each serve three years in prison for an opinion article about President Rafael Correa, state media reported.

You're right about Ecuador and Bolivia, they are great examples of socialism. They're both disasters, exactly like every other country that has adopted it.

The only reason Socialism hasn't worked is because populations fail to rear a generation of good moral socialists. Time and time again, it is the human element that is its undoing.

All we need to do is raise our children to be good socialists, and socialism will work this time.
