Anyone know the price range for a 1 bedroom apartment in tj? or even a studio, I'm just looking for an area that doesn't have too much violence going on, my gf is Brazilian and she is currently in Brazil, I petitioned for her when I had a good job but she wasn't able to go to the 3 consulate appointments cause it became extremely difficult for her, now I don't have a job so I can't petition again, she was gonna try to get a tourist visa but were thinking they might not give it to her cause she doesn't have a job, she just has a YouTube channel at the moment and that's what she does, for Mexico she doesn't need any visa or nothing so I'm thinking is the easiest way for us to be together, we've been a couple for several years now and things are just so hard for her to come to US, I'm Mexican but born in US, I speak Spanish and English fluently so living in tj a few months don't sound so hard for me, just don't know the areas that well, I would only go party as a teen lol

I don't see anything for 200$ though, I searched Craigslist already, I hear others say they pay 200$ for very nice places and I don't see anything like that.

From my Understanding, "that Well has Dried up my friend"
Since San Diego rent is so damn high, most people have been biting the bullet and moving to TJ, supply and demand.

When I lived there, my rent was $250 for a one bedroom apartment, but I can guarantee you that it's not $250 now. And that was five years ago.

You are better off picking an area of town you want to live in and then driving around looking for "SE RENTA" signs and then calling the number. Most lower cost places will rent like this.

moved, thanks for the links, but you know those areas? im trying to find a decent area, not just cheap rent.

malcorub16, yeah I think I'd be better off trying that.
then again idk if I should just send her money to put in her bank account and she just tries the tourist visa to come to SD. anyone know how much money is needed to have in the bank?

Stop asking questions, and do as stated above. You might want to post your questions in the Mexico section of the CD Forum, and they'll be able to answer your questions.
