Getting around in Mexico City
Hey all,
I'm going for a weekend to Mexico City. Whats the deal with taxi robbery? I will not be renting a car and will need to get around late at night. What can you recommend for safe evening transportation?

There is ¨Safe-Taxis¨ you can ask for them in the hotel-desk, they are more expensive but as his name safer. They can take you to any part of Mexico city and then you call them and they pick you up return to the hotel.
Enjoy your stay in the palaces city.

in theory you could but it would be expensive as hell, and I doubt many brave taxi drivers would be willing to go, it's more than 2,300 km |

ha ha ha, so many people thinks that mexico is a tinny place...
for that distance must be cheaper take a plane that a taxi... lol.

hell yeah!! one way trip from mexico city to cancun is like 80 to 140 dollars, must be something similar for merida |
