Have you been in Queretaro?

Because we can said is 2 hours distance from Mexico City, excellent location for quick trips to another colonial cities in the center of the country, and very modern, with a lot of jobs, but with colonial charm, very clean city.

But you have to visit there to know if you liked.

Regards!

Queretaro is a city with a very colonial charm, like steve said, but also very modern, like most important Mexican cities, the downtown is colonial, but the newest neighboorhoods and suburbs are very modern and trendy.

Queretaro is a mid sized city, with lots of high tech industries, specially in the aerospace area, but it has lots of high wage jobs and opportunities.

I have some friends who live @ the golf club near juriquilla which is the latest residential development. very nice living there, it has a beautiful lake, the rent is about 500 dollars monthly and their studio is very nice, it has pools and lots of beautiful gardens, I hope this helps making your choice, good luck!
