Long term beachfront rental???
My wife and I are looking for a small, clean place on the beach(hopefully south of Cancun). We are looking to stay under $700USD/mo. We will be arriving November 1st. Please let me know if you have anything or if you can help. My email - ERICWHIZ1978@yahoo.com

Oh yes, we are here. I've never been to Cancun as I live in Baja above the beach (own home). Your question has five very important words. SMALL..CLEAN..BEACH..CANCUN..Under $700 USD. We are not living in fantasy land. Sorry to break your bubble. Steve

It´s hard to believe that someone thinks there is something in Cancun area for $700 per month, that prices are for week and low....

Mexico is not as wealthy as the US, so though you can get something for that per month in many Mexican cities, including DF, the resorts are a different story. Not much different than let's say, Hawaii, though still cheaper.

Fantasy land???
I have found several places south of Cancun for $300/mo, so $700 is certainly not ridiculas!!! This board is a joke compared to others!!!

Do not think this board is a joke, (with all respect to the OP). Have lived in Mexico City (DF)...spent many times in Acapulco...Vera Cruz...La Paz...Mazatlan...Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo (love this place) all the beach resorts. Sure, you can find a LOW price in any of these areas, the question is what part/where and under what conditions they are under. Reading about something is one thing, seeing it is another thing before puting down the down payment and commitment. Anyway, good hunting to the OP. Stefhen

I believe th OP should fly down to Cancun... spend a few hundred dollars at the resort hotels for a weeks stay...rent a car/take a taxi...check out these $300 beach front palaces...return to us unknowledged people the addressess he professes to read about...geeez, I might leave Baja and rent one of those palaces for 6 months or so...you know... a change of beach.
