Default What city in California do you like the best?
If you were going into America and you decided to go into California which city would you most prefer? San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or other city in California.

I lived in SF for a couple of years and have also spent time in SD. I think that they are both great cities. Based on the following categories, here is who I would give the edge to:

Downtown : Definitely SF
Weather: Definitely SD
Urban Culture: Definitely SF
Beaches: Definitely SD
Terrain: SF (though SD is beautiful too)
Traffic/congestion: SD (less of both)
Friendly People: (tie) I found both to have alot of friendly people
Family Friendliness: SD
Cost of Living: SD (generally lower, but still high, not a plus for either city)
Overall: tie - Give me SD from November through April and SF the rest of the year
