I wonder if anyone knows of any hotels they can recommend in Algodones? I am planning to go there for 2 or 3 days and want to stay on the Mexican side (to fulfill a requirement for my immigration from Canada so please don't recommend staying on the US side - I would prefer to but can't in this case). I have tried the B&B at TLC dental where I will go to get my teeth cleaned but their rooms are only for those requiring major dental work and needing to stay over.

Also, will it be safe to go there as a female alone?

I know there are better places to go, but I don't want to drive in Mexico any more than I must, especially alone.

PS I can't seem to find hotels there on the net

Just because you can't find them on the Net doesn't mean they don't exist.

The Places I've stayed at in Tijuana don't exist on the Net either.

I'm sure they must have one or two or more in that city. I've thought of staying overnight there as well, at one time.

At any rate, I've never stayed in a dirty motel in Mexico yet, unlike the other side of the border.

I know San Luis de Colorado (south of Yuma) has motels. I ventured across the border one time, when down there, and there was one not too far from the border.
And nice motel.
