I guess it's a valid question but it really is comparing apples and oranges or maybe it's more like comparing grass and a pine tree.

Population of the McAllen area is around 750,000 - population of the Monterrey area is pushing 4 million.

Of course there are the facts that they are in two very different countries - speak different languages - have quite different climates.

But, to answer your question, it would have to be Monterrey for me. Love the climate variations they have.
