Since I've been back in the US for a few weeks, all the bad news about Mexico has really been getting me down.. But today I received a wonderful link to the speciality food stores in my little town of Bucerias (near Vallarta) and all the wonderfully diverse food products available there - items hard to find in the bigger, corporate supermarkets. Thought my MX forum friends and site visitors would enjoy seeing the bounty of Mexico! This is a terrific and colorful site....

Sarah, you make me wish I could eat my computer screen. My new motto: make food, not war.

Here's another mouthwatering look/review of a relatively new restaurant's offerings. Located in the Bay of Banderas, it's one of three in the area - and very popular - and well-worth visiting if you go to Vallarta.. A friend who's there for the hot summer months sent this - and now I'm looking forward to our short return trip in August! I know where we'll be headed for dinner when we return. This place is the real deal...
Enjoy!

The best tacos for me in Mexico are "macisa, barbacoa, mixiote, and pastor.

Im not sure that the entire menu of tacos can be offered in usa.
