The best apartments/condos are north of Snapper Creek, the canal that borders the north side of dadeland. The newest of the bunch is called colonade or such, it is on the canal and sw 72 ave. High rise units are on the old Williamson Cadillac property and Burger King offices south of Dadeland on Kendall. There is the old Dadeland apartments converted to condos around 2004 just west of the 826 on Kendall. Property crimes happen, although infrequently. Violent crime is rare although there have been domestic disturbances and the occasional robbery, and even a drug shoot-out in the 70's. Much safer than say, Cutler Ridge mall (or whatever they call it now).
