not true, a lot of mixing has taking place and it's not as simple as half African and you won't find a more racist country than the USA in the Americas

BS ... I travel through out Latin America and there is as much or more racism in any country in Latin America than in the US ... there is just way too much political correctness in the US . Yes , you can affectionately call a black friend "negrito " in Venezuela , Colombia , Puerto Rico , Panama , whatever ... but have that same black friend try and date a white girl or move into the same affluent neighborhood and racism will rear its ugly head in any of these countries .

I actually thought I was sticking up for Cubans in my reply ... giving your name ( aren't you Elian Gonzalez's cousin ? ) and your location being Hialeah .. I am surprised at your offense to my post ?

I thank the lord every day .. it is not Michael Jackson in the mirror that I see

Ok Einstein you have determined his post was 100% correct ... I don't care that much really .. I do not lose sleep over anything on here ... but I will post when I see something is unfair and your posts are veiled tripe and hate ... no I do not live in Miami ... but I am close enough and get down there enough to experience both its negatives and positives ... its Rock .... not cRock ... ask your Mom she pronounces it correctly

the same thing would happen in the USA, they would not say it to their face but will do anything possible to kick them out behind their back. The only difference is than in the USA they will buy new locks and better alarm systems once the blacks move to their neighborhoods

I agree with you .. yes there is racism in the US .. too much ... but it is no worse than anywhere else in the America's . They will not "say it to their faces " in Latin America either .

I have been to Chile on numerous opportunities ... Santiago , Concepcion , Valparaiso , Antofagasta and much of the country is indigenous or mixed white and native ... approximately 70% ... and I have never heard of any "danger" for these people ... the only city in Chile that is overwhelmingly White or European is Santiago .. so who ever told you this is wrong ... Argentina and Uruguay are much more European than Chile .... which is a lovely , lovely country by the way .

I never heard that either. All the people I have met from Chile have been very down to earth and polite. They are like argentinians with a different accent. I don't recall ever hearing a racist comment from them.
