I been searching but cannot find beaches near the Brickell area that are low cost. I went to Crandon and they wanted $5 to enter, on top of the $1.50 for the toll to get there.

I want a beach that is close by without the extra charges because I like going there every other day, and forking over $6.50 starts adding up over the course of time.

Something like Lake Worth or Delray Beach would be nice, just pull up, pay for parking, and thats it. I do not require any fancy park or anything, just sand and water.

Thank you.

this is true. many cool beach spots where u can pull up and i think you might just have to pay a meter. plus, you can hit up the buenos aires bakery for some delicious homemade argentinian treats! yum.

Considering once you pay to get in the park, parking is free, I don't think that's so bad of a deal.

I agree, and I would be fine for the times I am going for a few hours. But for when I just want less than or around an hour, I prefer just to pay the lower meter rates.
