I'm a barber interested in moving to Miami, I want to open a barber shop but was wondering is there alot of them already? Just wondering if it would be busy or what.

She was being facetious. There are plenty in South Florida.

If I were you, I'd look for work in one first, build up my clientele, then open shop where I see fit. You can succeed in that business, if you set yourself apart, and build a solid clientele. You have to know the area first.
Don't move just to open a business withouth knowing your market, clientele etc.

Hope it all works out for you. Good Luck!!

I agree with Misterny on this one, but what you do have on your side is that not a whole lot of Barbers here are really good - at least in my experience - the fades have been questionable to say the least - I don't like when you can see the line - then it isn't a fade LOL it is a line of hair above no hair.

My point is that if you are good the clients will follow - but first I would establish myself in a Barber shop and then work on getting your own business after clientele has been built - remember - you won't be the only one cutting hair in your shop - so if the other guys are doo-doo then it won't matter how nice you are.

Good look!
