"White" Americans are very meztiso. Sometimes I don't know why they are called whites. There are more true White ppl in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay by far.

I find the map pretty interesting...........I will be curious how the latest census map compares to this 2000 map.
Not sure I understand where Venezuelan is coming from with their post.....this map has absolutely nothing to do with rich/poor..............it's simply the results of a 2000 census and how the people that filled out the census choose to identify themselves............nothing more nothing less.....

Winterfront, I always laugh when this minority of racists speak as if they were genetically superior or more european. Plz. I am sure this minority have not even been to Europe and have no idea how Europeans look like. Also it is obvious that many of these racists have not traveled through the American continent. Lol.

If Adam Sandler is "White", Megan Fox is "White", and Keanu Reeves is "White", then Europeans are defenitely "NOT white" Lol.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, U have to believe me on this one: the 2012 Miami map will be like 90% red. U know why? The Hispanic label was not listed on the census.

I find that rather weird than interesting

Megan Fox and Keanu Reeves are not white, they are mestizos. Just like any Central American (White/Amerindian).

Adam is white (not Germanic white) as the Caucasian race is the most diverse race there is.

The 2010 Census Questionnaire: Seven Questions for Everyone - Population Reference Bureau

Uh, Winterfront now there is a question dedicated to Hispanic origin, so now even more data is available than before
Hispanic Identity
Since the 1970 Census, the questionnaire has asked U.S. residents whether they are of Hispanic origin, and if so, which broad Hispanic group they identify with. Hispanic origin is considered separately from race in the Census—and Hispanics may identify with any race. As the largest and fastest-growing ethnic minority in the United States, the information about Hispanic origin is of growing importance. It is used in numerous programs and for monitoring equal employment opportunities.

Remember that census form we had to fill out some months ago?Well, I didn't see the Hispanic label there.

Anyone born in Florida, California, Texas, Arizona, and Puerto Rico is "Hispanic" then. Since these territories were Spanish colonies before they were annexed to the Union.

"Hispanic Origin" lol.
