Well, if you will have us, we are driving from the west coast to the east coast, so location is not an issue for us. You name it, and we will be there.

I have found in reading these posts over the last few weeks , that Ft.Lauderdale , Tridad , Doggiebus and PBCBoy usually make the most sensible posts ... not too much on the negativity or "sugar coated " positives .

They seem pretty fair and balanced as Fox News likes to say they are .... LOL

I am with you on the west coast from Sarasota north and I am a big fan of the Tampa / Clearwater areas as you might expect from some one who grew up there ... the area is really growing into a cosmopolitan area ... the illegal immigrants are mostly Mexican and Guatemalan migrant workers and construction guys .... unlike Miami which is more Cuban and South American .... Tampa / Clearwater has a more California like feel even right down to it's illegal immigrant demographic LOL !!!

I do not really care where anyone is from as long as they are civil and reasonably friendly and make an honest attempt to assimilate ... I have met many a "white trasher " that was not much better or even worse than some of the illegals we are so concerned about !!!

Good people are good people and low lifes are low lifes no matter where they are from or what ethnic backgrounds they have .

Good post and good luck to you .... wow I will be more aware of my surroundings next time I am in Ft.Myers !!
I have noticed that people in Fort Myers tend to be really rude, and there was screaming and I heard gunshots when I was staying at a hotel there off of Hwy. 41 like every night...

Ugh, im hijacking!

Wow .... I did not get that feeling when I was up there a few months ago ... must be something to it though if so many people are bringing that up !!!

From what I understand there are not too many New Yorkers or Cubans up there so who is to blame for the rudeness .... LOL

And soooo ... anyone going to organize a gathering? The question got sidetracked and drifted a bit along the way.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering what happened to that. I still say Markam Park is a good location, but I do not think I am coming.

Markham Park - Broward County. Weston in the Pines - there are some great photo ops at the RC field - seriously. We can discuss photography, RC helis, tech stuff, etc.

Ok - what say all of you? Is Markham Park good for you guys? Who wants to select a date and time?

I don't know anything about Markham Park so no opinion as to location. Can this be done on a Saturday? I was the one who mentioned looking at each other's pictures and talking cameras, photos, etc.
