Anyone know of any semi-decent apts ranging from 450-650 a month? I just need a place to stay WITHOUT A ROOMMATE. I just want to live on my own for a while and save up my money. Close to public transportation/stores/school(Miami Dade) Looking to move in January.

I know of some studios in Hollywood, that are $500, and I will check around for you...there is a place on 4th Street, about 12 SW that is pretty cheap, and clean. Not a bad place to live, the one bedrooms run about $650...This is a better area than the places over on 48th street/49th street 2900 NW, those are shotgun houses, cheap rent, but pretty scary, not well maintained. There are one bedroom apts on 20th Street area, 1600 NW, they run $750 for a one bedroom. Note, these places all have parking, and are close to the Metro rail, I am sure there are places cheaper on SOBE, but without parking, and a hassle for metro rail people.

Most of the places you are looking in that price range, are not going to be posting an ad on Craigslist, you actually have to go to the area, and look at the for rent signs in the buildings.
