I am going to be moving to Coral Gables in Jan and I am moving specifically to a condo building called Da Vinci on Douglas road which is 37 ave I believe and around 26st. Does anyone have any information about this building/area? Good or bad would be helpful. Thanks

I don't know about that particular building but I know there are some fairly recent buildings in that area. Double check because technically I don't believe you are actually within the city of Coral Gables, but actually across the street. You would be within biking distance of miracle mile / downtown coral gables, decent area for boutique shopping and dining but no night life. In the opposite direction there's Merick Park upscale mall. Close to US1, Bird Road, Coral Way, Brickell/downtown Miami and MIA airport.

You'll be in the outskirts of Coral Gables which is a nice calm area or right across the street which I am not certain is City of Miami or unincorporated Dade County, either way it's a whatever working class neighborhood behind the main roads -- I couldn't say I would feel unsafe walking around there at night.

Santiago is right, that is actually not Coral Gables, but rather the City of Miami. Simply cross the street to be in Coral Gables

That actually works out very well. You have many of the benefits from being really really really close to Coral Gables, but none of their restrictions.
