Hello
My husband and I used to live in Miami Florida in 1978-1979. He worked for a family that owned the Polar Palace. Is the rink still there and does any one know where to reach the family that owned it during that time?

Google Maps is telling me the place no longer exists, as in, I'm not getting any results.

If you know the street address of the building maybe you can look up the public records at miamidade.gov ?

Anything from before the 1980's real estate bubble has surely been wiped out. Even Bird Bowl which still exists is nowhere near what is was. All the skating rinks and other bowling alleys are now gone.

I remember the Polar Palace. It was near Miami Jai-Alai and New England Oyster House on 36th Street by the Miami River water dam. By Gregg L. Friedman MD
