Angry Miami's Cat Population

All these cats around here.....and people are ENABLING them to reproduce. There are like food bowls everywhere, little scratch posts for them, little pet houses and whatnot sitting outside of people's homes....Why don't you do this for stray dogs? Didn't they get the memo about spaying and neutering your pets? Also, stop feeding the strays if you aren't going to properly take care of them! I'm tired of hearing them have sex at night!

Some people just have a soft spot for animals, I agree it is counter productive to do what they are doing, but at least they are not in the habit of skinning them alive for pleasure.

This is a huge problem in Miami, something that isn't going to change for a while as long as people purchase pets from the side of the road. Put a trap out, catch them and take them to the Miami-Dade Animal Services or the Human Society and have them spayed or neutered for a cheap price. If they have a cliped ear then they have already been spayed or neutered fyi.

NO! I was just making an example, I was just saying that I rather have some misguided folks with soft hearts doing something like this, than the flip side which would be a bunch of animal cruelty whacks torturing them.

Set up traps and then "relocate" them somewhere far with water in-between.

The media and politicians in south florida are too busy fear mongering about invasive pythons to care about things that are already major problems.

No, they're just too busy reaping the benefits of sticking their hands in the cookie jar while not giving two ****s about the people they are supposed to serve.

Maybe the stray pythons can at least cull some of the stray cats..?
I kid, I kid.
Yes.. trap them both and put the kitties in the shelter (they kill lots of local wildlife and pee-pee everywhere when left to roam wild).. and as for the pythons, hhmmm.. use them for food...?

That being said, I agree that having a soft spot beats being an abusive psycho...!
