If you are having problem understanding Hispanics I would not like to see you dealing with Muslims. LOL. I read once a book called "While Europe Slept" or something like that. Read it and you will get a glimpse the **** Europe has got itself in the long term. Specially the Nordic countries. At least Amsterdam still being the place to party like a rock star.

You want to know something really funny. Like a year ago, a friend of mine went to interview the Imam of the Flagger Mosque. The reason of the interview was to write an article about Islam. But when my friend touched the terrorism subject the guy got in flames and dispatched him out of the Mosque. Guess what? My friend, now living in Cali, called me to tell me that one of the arrestees was the guy he interviewed. Small world, isn’t it? LOL

Pakistanis are no problem in most of Europe. Most of them are hardworking people and many are rich. They are very important in England and they are part of the British culture. Modern contemporary British culture would be at loss without Indian and Pakistani influence.

Problem here are Morrocans. According to estimates by Intelligent Services, 15 percent of all Morrocans living in Spain are controlled by Salafist Immans. Quite appalling to see woman dressed with a Burka following his husband.

Problems in Scandinavia and in Low countries countries are provoked by Morrocans. They were behind the bombing of Atocha, Madrid.

Pakistan is the most worrisome and the most complicated. They have nuclear weapons, their strongest alley is China, in a border dispute with India over Kashmir and a strong Taliban insurgency ready to turn the country into an Islamic fundamentalist state.

Of course they gave Osama a protected safe haven to apease the Paki taliban. The US can't get "too" upset about it because neither the US or Pakistan can afford to let the Taliban take over.

We didn't get Osama in Tora Bora because the Paki troops drew guns and prevented US solders from going to get him. When our stealth helicopter crashed at the compound in Abbottabod, the Paki's gave our technology to China.

It's a huge mess over there and the US has to dance with this Devil because we can't let Pakistan fall to the Taliban no matter how much Pakistan screws us over.

I agree with you on that. Americans (not those in our gov't) hate oppression. A woman in a Burka following a man in blue jeans always brings to mind in me the image of a slave master followed by his slave in shackles.

My god!!! That bottom picture really brings it into focus!! Seeing endless rows of women forced to wear these goddamned potato sacks - but no - not just that-- no! UNIFORMLY GREY potato sacks!!!!! Being robbed of color or beauty or expression of any kind which is inherently part of the identity of a woman!!!! Robbed of their very essence!!!! I'm reminded of the horrid contraptions people had to wear in Kurt Vonnegut's dystopian story, "Harrison Bergeron"! It's almost too absurd to be real!! An empire that wants to paint the whole world Grey at pain of death is truly an evil empire in its truest sense and as such should be extinguished from the earth!!

Not a big jump from many Christian denominations. Just live in TN for a while and you will see what I mean. There are a few women who have to: wear skirts to ankles, cover arms, cover neck, not talk to other men, etc.

While this is very minority few, the oppression of women throughout history has crossed many cultures and religions.

While classical liberal philosophy has allowed our culture to veer off from that oppression in our culture, abuse of women is still more common than it should be, not from the government but by family members. It is only through the course of law and fear of consequences that more women (and people) are not oppressed.

Question is: If there was no law against slavery, would we still have it in the US? Your answer to that is the determining factor on your belief on the moral guidance of some of our fellow citizens. That is assuming you think it is morally wrong to enslave someone.

These people are not representative of 99% of religions. You just don't hear about the 99% because it isn't newsworthy. 99% is about peace, love, having a relationship with God, etc. Nothing "exciting" there to make any headlines.

Edited to add that as far as I know - in TN you can be any religion you want or none at all.
