saw it flying in. the boeing dreamlifter is currently parked at MIA too. look for the plane that looks like a snake that has swallowed something large.

What time does it leave? Do we know yet if it will fly east or west? I would love to get a pic of that thing from my balcony!

It is suppose to leave at 7:50pm from the gate so take off a few mins after that. It will fly to the East taking off from Runway 9/27

There were LOTS of people here to see the landing. MIA did an awesome job, made parking on the grass for people to see.

The restored Eastern DC-7 from OPF also came in for the ceromonies.

A four fire truck water canon salute for the aircraft.

Wow! That thing is huge.

It's nice to see there were quite a few people interested in watching it come in. Seems too many people just don't care about anything these days...always refreshing to see people have a genuine interest in something...especially something that cool.

One of the great things about aviation! People are extremely passionate about it. That was just one section of people there are parking lots all around the runway filled with people. And Miami is one of the best cities in the world to be in for people who love aviation.

I just checked on here and found out at 7:50! AHHHHHHHHH!!! Don't tell me that plane I heard a little bit ago was it!

Is this a daily schedule? I absolutely need a pic of this thing from my balcony.

No worries it will be a daily service. You will see this plane every day!
However it took off late today because of the media, and there had to do extra training and stuff with the airplane since it was the first time it was in MIA. It will takeoff a bit earlier now around 4:30 I think, that is the normal schedule. You can always check MIA's website they have real time flight info on it.

Are they running a direct MIA-FRA with the A380? I didn't realize there was enough call to go to Europe from Miami to run an A380?
