Default Commute from Fort Lauderdale to MB

Hi! I am strongly considering accepting a position in Miami Beach. I live in Fort Lauderdale at the beach, A1A and Commercial. So I will be commuting for about 9 months before I can move (I go to FAU) (such driving!!)

The job is at Mt Sinai. When I drove for my interview, my GPS had me take A1A all the way (I think since both are on the beach and 95 is so far west). It took about an hour and 10 minutes. Will 95 be so conjested in the morning, should I stick to A1A? - it seems insane to take such a slow road for so long, but at least it is scenic. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My job will be 8-6, so is it a bad idea to take 95? Thank you!

Yep, this is my experience as well. If you get to work by 8, you won't have to deal with much traffic. Definitely worth it to take I-95; it should take under an hour, but give yourself an hour to be safe.
