Smile Holidaying in miami

Hi we are moving on the 30th july, and before the kids start school and our house purchase goes through, we are staying in a temp holiday home... Can everyone please advice nice things for us to do, places to visit, places to eat etc etc....so we have plenty to keep us happy til we get real busy again...thanks!

Definitely visit south beach. The rest depends on how much time you have, and will you have car? You could drive to the Keys, the Everglades, shopping malls etc. Where is your holiday home located?

Holiday place is located in doral and yes we will have a car, just wanted some unusual ideas to show the kids other than malls etc.. Will go to the keys - which do people favour as a starting point....?

Everglades National Park, Venitian Pool in Coral Gables, Fairchild Tropical Gardens, Zoo Miami, Bill Baggs State Park on Key Biscayne, Jungle Island, Miccosukee Indian Village, Monkey Jungle, Viscaya, etc.

not in my case, as i always research everything, just wanted some coll placesa recommended by those in the know.... when we were there for 4 days on our look see, we found jimbos.. i m,ean this sort of thing?

ahhh Jimbos, if you are looking for places like that you might like Scottys Landing in Coconut Grove. I haven't been back there though in a fe years after seeing the food inspection violations online.
