Im from chicago and was thinking of moving to south or central florida.
I like the scenery, night life and diversity, but the woman are just too wild out there for me. I met four chicks just mingling on a visit one was stripper and amateur pornstar. the other two were cage dancers, and one was a model that lived off of rich men and spent all day at the beach

it seemed like besides working in real estate, or being a model
nobody had a real job and was just there to party. Im not judgemental
if a woman wants to be a stripper more power to her,and I respect everybody
regardless of their occupation, but most of these woman I could only just be freinds with or just be in a casual dating relationship with. that is fine for now because I am 24 and will not need anything serious until Im about 33.

but I would like to hang around with a little more stable and like minded
professional ppl whether its dating or just freinds.

In fact one of my freinds buddy just had to dump his girlfreind
because he found out his girl use to escort a couple years ago
and I heard alot of porn companies are moving there head quarters
to south florida, because the girls will have sex for money on camera cheaper than LA
girls, not to mention all the strip clubs in Tampa.

Dont know if I plan to get married, but I might have back to the midwest, south or eastcoast to find a girl who is marriage material.

I've pretty much given up on the Tampa dating seen. So now I spend all my time on CD looking for a better place to live. Though I'm in a different age bracket so it may be better for you.

That's true, FL has the highest number of crazy people probably in the whole country.

I think it's the tourism factor. People who want to be on permanent vacation are people w/o goals, objective, or purpose. Everybody loves a little sun and fun - even for a LONG time. But sooner or later sensible folks want to do something with their lives. That's why I went back to Boston cuz I had to stop myself from 24/7 partying and get a life. Not to say that can't be done in Miami, but the constant siren song of permanent diversion is hard to ignore there. So I think the major problem is there is a large percentage of goalless people there are permanent vacation and them another large percent who want to be but can't afford to be and are thus resentful. That's the big difference between MIA and other cities like BOS/SF/NY etc. Those cities have more purpose than just partying. And Miami is their party spot. People on permanent vacation are like alcoholics who become addicted, obsessively trying to fill a void (their absence of purpose) with a never-ending party and ultimately become consumed by the addiction when they hit 40 and their resume still only shows waiter.

I was always intrigued by the word waiter. It seems to be a true double-entendre. Sure a person waiting on tables, but also seemingly a person waiting to get a real life - most proverbially in Hollywood. Some wait too long and then it's too late.

Basically you've got two types of women down here:

A) The ones that want your money/citizenship

and

B) The seemingly nice, loving Christian churchgoing women who also secretly want your money

Personally, I prefer A since they don't hide behind the facade of religion in their attempts to grab your cash. Don't get married with either A or B and use protection.
