♥♥PRINC3Ss♥♥: He's a Prankster Dj that's on Mix 98.3 in Miami. He has pranked Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, and even got Fidel so angry that he called Enrique a "fa66ot". Some of his pranks are actually pretty funny, but sometimes a bit mean spirited at times.

I dont like him. He is as fake as it gets At least Niurka doesnt pretend to be something she isnt. He asked Niurkas husband if had had sex with other men. what kind of question is that? (and he insisted for an answer too, maybe he wanted to date him)Then he told them to leave because it was a children's program and they were talking disgusting things which is totally untrue. The only disgusting pig was Enrique himself asking about the sexual life of Niurkas husband. And if he wants to do it, at least don't pretend to be professional or care for those children who are listening to his garbage. Its the double standard I cant stand.
It's not that accurate. Some havana winter nights do go into the 50's, the low 50's for that matter.
I mentioned that Miami has many nights in the 40s in the winter and Havana as an example is usually 10 degrees warmer during these cold snaps, which you just backed up for me. I said those 10 degrees of milder air make a difference during our cold snaps for truely tropical vegetation....so where was I not accurate? Cancun and Merida Mexico also have nights in the 50s during these cold spells. When these areas get this cold, we are usually in the low 40s. So, in the "tropics" the cold is moderated moreso and allows the tropical vegetation to survive without cold protection.
I never said cold fronts stop at before they make it to Cuba. They make it as far as Central America believe it or not, although again, a cold front in the winter lowers night time temps by 5 degrees there and just kicks up the wind whereas here it can represent a 20 degree drop in daily highs from one day to the next.
Miami is NOT tropical. not even close. my father lives in Jamaica, and comparing Jamaica's weather to Miami's is apple and oranges. Miami is built on a swamp, not a rainforest. Tropical fruit like Bread Fruit and Guinep are not able to grow here. The winter time (which in the real tropics, there is no "winter" season or drop in temeperature to even begin with) is constantly dipping in the high 30's to mid 40's for an extended period of time. Many of the palm tree's here in South Florida (of which, the coconut palms are NOT native to), are tinged yellow/brown and half dead year round from the damage done to them in the winter. People are walking around in jackets and cranking up their heaters for 1-3 months out of the year. And this is not me hating on Miami, I love it here, but I am mearily stating observations. This type of weather would never occur in Jamaica or any other real tropical place below the Tropic of Cancer. That is fact. If you truly believe Miami's weather is tropical, you need to travel more. It has tropical elements, but is not, and never will be, truly tropical.
Ha, isn't Enrique Santos some local radio station"personality" I never heard him on the radio but I saw him on Youtube when he interview Niurka Marcos or whatever her name is. He is so unprofessional and fake. It was a disgusting interview. You know it's hard to sympathize with someone as obnoxious as Niurka but this scumbag made the impossible possible.
Wow - Niurka Marcos is 45?! Damn, she looks great for any age, nevermind 45?!

I guess you are not a thread reader.
Miami is out of the tropical ZONE, the tropical zone includes the area between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn. There are deserts, oceans, mountains, etc in this zone. It has nothing to do with rainforest, warm air, cold air, or anything.
The tropical CLIMATE is classified as an area in which the mean year round temperature is above 64 degrees F. Miami is included in this, there are areas in the tropical ZONE that do not have a tropical climate.

This sentence here tells me you don't know what you are talking about as the the yellow tinge is not from the winter but is from a type of pest or bug that infected the trees back in the 1970's which killed many of the Coconut Palms. They inject them on a quarterly basis with a chemical.

Climate classfication systems disagree with you. AGAIN AND AGAIN I NEED to make the same point over and over. We are NOT saying Miami is as tropical as Jamaica or looks anything like Puerto Rico but Miami based on the most used and highly regarded climate classfication system is a tropical CLIMATE. This is plain science guys, this is not an opinion this is a fact. Do all tropical climates have to grow the same trees? No of course not, just like all subtropical climates do not grow the same trees. Do plam trees exist in Virginia? No they cant live in Virginia but they can live in Orlando. Both are subtropical climates. Lets a lot not forget some more evidence of Miami's tropical climate, the living coral reef right off our shores. Part of the third largest tropical coral reef system in the world.
Is Miami border line tropical? Yes it is.
