Im a 32 year old single female who just recently moved back here to Miami after being away for nearly 14 years. I have a cool mix of friends here who like myself are fun, established, attractive professionals. We go out on weekends for happy hour, or hit up various events like The Art Walk downtown or whatever might be advertised in the New Times.

But alas, my single girlfriends and I are stumped on where all the straight single 30 something men are???

I know that its not easy to date in this city. Theres a huge population of hoochy mama 20 something females....But I would like to think that the kind of man I find attractive wouldnt want a hoochy mama to begin with.

So please tell me, is it really hopeless to date straight men in their 30's in this city? Or should I just move to somewhere like Denver and hope for the best?

LOL people still use the words hoochy mama?

Anyways, its terrible to find a sincere, non-commitment phobic straight male here. People are beyond superficial and third tier..with little morals..or even social graces.

I like how she has to throw in the qualifier "straight." Good luck tho!

Try Mary Brickell Village, Midtown, The Deign District, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, South Beach, South Miami bars and restaurants.

I would stay away from bars. Trying to meet a decent, commitment minded guy at a place like Blue Martini is impossible...lol. Oddly enough, online is a great way to meet people.
Finding a nice (sane) person in Miami to date is like finding a needle in a haystack BUT, it is possible

32 year old women are usually married and have 2 or 3 children.

30 something year old men look for younger women 18-27.

You should look for men in ages 37-45.
