I just moved to Miami recently but I've been living near that place for a month. Exactly on Alton Rd and 8th. I never noticed any suspicious activity. All of South Beach seems very safe. Maybe somebody who's been living here longer has a different opinion but personally if the price is good I would totally recommend it.

Just about anywhere in Miami Beach is very safe. That area is fine.
