Hello, I was just leaving from South Beach with a metro bus to Dadeland mall and I though that maybe it is closed because of the thanksgiving. I went online but didn't find any info, so does any of you know if Dadeland Mall is closed today because of thanksgiving day? I don't want to make all that way for nothing.

Thank you.

Yes, not sure why you could not find it on the website :

SPECIAL MALL HOURS
Thanksgiving
11/24/2011 Mall Closed

- most regular businesses (aside from hotels/tourism and medical ones) close on Thanksgiving and Christmas - even if they are open on all the other 'minor' holidays, these two are sacrosanct in america.

For some reason my browser won't open their official website, so I thought they were down and went to look on other sites.

Anyway, thank you very much for saving me a trip for nothing. Happy thanksgiving!

You want to get off at Dadeland North, and it's possible to walk to the mall. Or you can take an 88 bus to get a little closer.

You should be able to walk from either Dadeland north or south,no need to take a bus. It's no more than a 5 minute walk from either train stop.

No need to walk from south station. North station is safer, as you won;t have to cross 88st
