Aventura-based Cabi Developers is planning to repurpose its property on the south end of the Brickell neighborhood for big-box retailers.
The proposal, dubbed
Capital Brickell Place, is coming out of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case of Cabi’s ex-condominium project, called Capital at Brickell. According to court filings, the plan includes specific interest from retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Costco , Wal-Mart and Target.

Cabi’s concept shows an eight-story building with 270,000 square feet of retail across four floors, restaurants and 1,000 parking spots.
