I cannot believe there is even a debate about it.

Is the same debate going to be held (jobs, traffic, crime), if I want to start a construction company? Expand a bank into the area?

Casinos are a business, nothing else. They take your money all the same as Macy's does or a movie theater, even the Marlins. I do not think the state (nor the nosy busy bodies) should be involved in how and where I spend my money. If the gov does want to get involve with how people spend their money, they should look first at the idiots that needed a trillion dollars in bailout money.

Miami is good enough but not better than casinos, casinos are the only source of having fun, earning money within a second, etc. Today, only with the help of all slots I earned lot of money and utilized it for the good organization.

I am 100% agree with the Boxus statement that casinos are only the business nothing else. This is just because people are becoming crazy about casinos that too with some popular casinos including all slots, wild, jack, etc.

I agree... I see nothing wrong with a casino and I had never been in one till I moved to the Seattle area from Savannah, GA. They are all over the place out here on the indian reservations. I go to play cards once or twice a month. I've won and I've lost, but in all cases I've had fun.

They would help the local economy too.

Casinos are widely spread ed everywhere and I think its a good idea to open it in Miami also. I will suggest them to gather some positive points from all slots just to make it more appropriate and perfect.

Nahhh, they've been trying to push Casinos during the last 80 years...the "Gold Coast"....
Why do you think that Luciano ended in Havanna along with Lansky and used Sinatra as a courier?
I guess that preachers or whatever in the panhandle don't like it....

I guess, there is nothing bad to go with this idea, as people will surely going to love it like the way I am crazy about all slots.

Leave casinos to Vegas, they excel at it. Leave the beaches, dance scene, and clubs to Miami because they excel at it

Casinos aren't the only thing that excel in Vegas though. Vegas is ALSO known for it's nightlife and entertainment as a whole.

I think not only nightlife in Miami but think of it as an entertainment destination as a whole, I think it is very possible and great idea.
