You should look up newtimes.com for local information on events, restaurants, lounges and clubs. The publication is free and comes out every Wednesday. You should ask your hotel concierge when you arrive for recommendations. They usually know the latest.

The best time to visit south Florida specifically Miami Beach is May or June before the really hot weather arrives. The beach water will be warm enough to enjoy, the weather won't be in the upper 90's and the rainfall won't be so intense. Don't ever come from August to late October its the extreme rainy season..actually thats when most hurricanes come too.

Enjoy,

Joe
