Weston is in Broward County (Fort Lauderdale area). There is a large Colombian population in Weston and it is a very nice city.

I thought it was Nica... but one learns something new thing everyday.

The Hammocks, is home to a large concentration of Colombians and Colombian Americans in the U.S. Given the local name "Little Bogota".

The Hammocks, Florida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Though, most Colombians in Miami are from Cali, Medellin, and Barranquilla. You hardly find people from Pasto, Antioquia, Cartagena, Bogota, etc...

Most NextGen (mid 90's - now) Colombians root to West Kendall. Colombians who came to Miami in the 70's or 80's don't necessarily identify themselves with the far west.

I meet Colombians all the time in Miami Beach. The most walkable area is going to be Miami Beach. Come visit Lincoln Road one Sunday for the Farmer's Market and you'll be hooked.

Does anyone know if any of these areas are where the more "prosperous" Colombians live in?

There are no prosperous neighborhoods exclusively populated by Colombians.

Very few and a lot of them were non-Hispanic, they used to live in Key Byscaine, Coral Gables.
Many were Lebanese, Jews, Italians, etc. There were many belonging to powerful traditional families, the "Whatever and Whatever, related to Whatever and Whatever".
They were not immigrants, but people relocating their assets.
Those people were not into drugs, those came later and were very few.
Immigrant is immigrant...asset relocation..what a joke.
