Take Tri-Rail from Boca and transfer at the Tri-Rail / Metrorail station at NW 79th. street. Then take the southbound Metrorail train to the Government Center station in downtown Miami. You descend to the next lower level to catch the Metromover "downtown loop" which will leave you right in front of Bayfront Park.
You are going to have to check time shedules & fees. Metromover is free by the way.

Thanks, MiamiRob. I wasn't looking forward to finding a parking space.

The rally is supposed to be tonight, I personally wouldn't rely on Tri-rail weekend service because it's only every 2 hours and doesn't run very late. If anything, check the schedule and make sure you get back to tri-rail transfer at a time that doesn't require you to wait the full 2 hours and also before the last train leaves. Honestly, parking is not going to be a huge issue in downtown, it's not a Heat game or New Years or anything like that. If anything, you can park at the Metrorail ($5 = less than Tri-rail fare?) and take that into downtown. You can use Palmetto station or Earlington Heights station, or even Viscaya if you wanted.

Or you can invite them all to rally in Atlantic Avenue, no need to worry about Walmarts.

I guess there must be many rallys springing up. The one that I read about is at 4pm tomorrow. The numbers expected have been stated 75-100k, but I think that will be a stretch.

I like the idea of parking at the Metrorail station, otherwise it will be a long day.
