Bird Bowl steps up to buy run-down alley - Homestead / South Dade - MiamiHerald.com
I friend who lives in Kansas bought a 20 lane bowling alley for 300K and turned it profitable. The one in Homestead is less than 20 years old but has been closed for 7 years or so. Originally Paula Carter's pro bowl.

I'd much rather see this development be somewhere in the city, not way out encouraging more sprawl.

How about restoring agriculture to Homestead and ending the fantasyland projects that enrich a select few kleptocrats?

Trump is nothing but a "hustler" now. He has failed to build numerous projects across the US like the Trump Towers in New Orleans and he gets other developers to "pay" for the right to name their projects with his "Signature "brand name. He is more concerned about his "name" than he is about business now.
We already have sound stages in North Miami called the "Greenwich Studios" and other parts of the metro area. Also Trump has never been in the movie business! What is he going to bring to Homestead? The Miss USA pageant & the Aprrentice? Doubt it!

I'm not sure he even owns Miss USA any more, but your post is spot on. Doing a deal with Trump is no better than doing it with a loan shark, drug lord, etc. He's bad news all around.
