Hi all ,

I am now sure whether you can help me out and whether this is the right forum to post my question but I hope so...

I'm going to stay in Miami for two days and need to buy clothes in plus size for women there. Plus-size shops for men would work out for polo-shirts for example.

Since I need to focus on the shopping tour, I would like to ask you now in advance which shops with plus sizes you know in Miami or nearby (I'd rent a car) and which you'd recommend?

Every hint would be of great help to me.

Thanks a lot,

Saba

the best way to maximize your shopping would be go to a mall, where there are many shops all in one place ... the big department stores are the places most likely to have a full range of sizes, including plus-size.

Aventura Mall at 195th & Biscayne Blvd, has the department stores Nordstroms, Sears, and J.C. Penney; plus numerous smaller boutique shops too.

I agree. Dillards, Macys, JCP, Sears are anchor stores in most malls and they all have plus-size departments - with Dillards and Macys having the bigger selections and better quality clothes. Also, Lane Bryant is also in most malls.

I don't remember the name of it, but Aventura has one of the few boutique plus-size stores - pricey, but nice stuff.

Oh - Kohls, they have some really nice plus-size clothing.

Hi all, thank you very much for your replies!!
I realized that maybe there is a difference between plus size and plus size - I'm searching for bigger plus sizes. I guess, the big and tall store is a good shop to start with... Are there any more ideas?

"Plus size" generally refers to women's clothing and "big and tall" to men's.
